Our alarm stopped working, so we called ADT to report, It took them 3 weeks to send a technician, who brought the incorrect part with him, he only came back 4 days later. So we had no alarm for nearly a month. I spoke to technician and he told me that as it was ADT owed equipment I would not be charged. I called the call centre to confirm this and was told I would pay no more than R100 for the part. The next month I received a statement for R1632.48 for the part and call out. I called them three times to query this and asked them to go back and check the telephone call with the ADT call centre as they say the calls are recorded for my protection. All three times the agents I spoke to said they would get back to me, no one has. This has been going on for over 3 months now.
