Unfair billing and poor service

We recently moved into a new store and there was already ADT equipment installed in the store (the keypad etc.) All we needed really was to get connected.

I booked a technician to come through, he installed a battery and transformer on the day and we paid the quote. Few days later the keypad stopped working. I had called so many consultants at ADT for assistance and they charged us a call out fee of over R600. We refused to pay this as we had just been connected and now the alarm system is faulty. I called for assistance and the consultant told us we were under warranty still and did not have to pay out call out fee. I had booked a technician to come through and he never came. This was now past the warranty date and then I called again, and they told me that we have to pay the call out fee regardless and that we were not under warranty as the equipment was not new. Now we are sitting without security at the store for days now.

ADT misinformed me or maybe their agents are not informed properly. First we should pay call out fee, then not. Then we are under warranty, then they tell us we are not.
I am really disappointed and now we are at security risk due to their poor assistance.
