Channels removed without notice

I would like to know 2 things, why DSTV did not notify the public adequately regarding this. After some searching I found it announced on the Forums on the 28th November 2013.

Being on a small package specifically for my kids, they have just up and removed it without replacing it with something equal or in the same content bracket.

After calling the Call Centre, which is like chewing sandpaper its so painful, are completely unhelpful with anything except an upgrade. After asking them about the kidsco issue, they say oh no they notified you.
I have received no notification in any media format - print, electronic or voice.

I also checked my Smartcard Link on Supersport, and it says that my Smart Card is linked to another Profile - The you lady at the call centre says that it is impossible, yet there it is according to the website. She said send a complaint to the complaints via the website. After 9 emails to them, and no response, i decided that this may be the only forum to get an answer?
