I just came back from gateway after seeing the hobbit. This was my first time there since the old imax. what a shame, the screen is just a little bigger than the normal cinemas. it should be two stories high. the immersion i felt from the old imax is gone. the price is crazy for that reason, i may as well go to normal moves. ster kinekor basically bought the cheapest they could. and im not the first who was upset at size. i wont go back now that i know its liemax as americans call the digital versions.
