My name is Helga Pearson and I'm the founder of Geek Girls Durban.
I have been trying for NEARLY A MONTH to lodge a block booking for 28 people with Ster Kinekor IMAX Gateway. Here are some of the interactions I have had with your staff:
- There IS NO SUCH movie playing, The Hobbit was not showing in Dec (when it clearly was)
- There is no way anyone can tell me when bookings will open. Then they gave me the wrong date entirely.
- They are not sure who I should contact for block bookings
- The email LISTED ON their SITE [Email Removed] is not valid (according to the block booking lady)
- After speaking to the FIRST block booking agent, I was told I could make a booking and individuals could pay on the day but there would be no discount, which was fine with me.
- THREE days before bookings open, the SECOND block booking agent tells me, this is not possible and I need to get all the funds together, pay Ster-kinekor and make a booking.
I have jumped through every hoop, I have done all you asked.
I HAVE PAID, you have our money and yet I HAVE NO CONFIRMATION OF MY BOOKING FOR SATURDAY THIS WEEK! I'm frantic and highly upset, seriously guys!
