We just spent a Mother's Day having lunch at Westwood Mall. I had bought a Groupon voucher for the restaurant and the experience that we had left me humiliated as it was my "treat"... or rather fault.
Firstly we had a reservation at 12pm but when we arrived we were told that we had to come back at 12:30 because of the breakfast rush. When we did come back there was a huge mob of waiters literally running around in circles doing and undoing what each one had just done... nobody could tell us where our table was. The managers were of no help either! Eventually we got a table upstairs and I had placed my order for starters which where various food baskets... the results were three plates with meager amounts of food amidst manky lettuce leafs and wet utensils. We waited for half an hour to make our drinks order and another half an hour to get them. We complained several times and the manager assured us that all would be taken care off as she swanned off to have a chat with a staff member. We ordered the steaks promised by Groupon which arrived an hour later and ice cold which was mostly grizzle and fat..no sauce and dried as biltong. Please stay away... it's not worth your time trust me!
