A friend and I decided to have lunch at the Food Lover's Market cafe at Westwood Mall in Durban during our lunch hour. The waitress seated us and then waited forever for someone to come take order. We eventually grew tired and called another waitress over to place our order with her. While placing the order the waitress told us they were out of salmon, hake and cake so eventually we ordered just a single drink each and a wrap and croissant, nothing fancy. Our drinks came after a long while and we took as long as possible to drink them, waiting for our food to arrive. We eventually realised our break was over, and still no sign of the food so we called the manager over, wanting to cancel. She just stared at us, said 'I'm sorry' and nothing else, at which point the waitress brings the food over, we told her to pack a takeaway since we have to leave which she did, but also told us that another table was complaining about the wait as well. My friend again told the manager the wait was ridiculous, and again she just stared at us, not saying a word. We should never have paid for the food since we had to go back to work and eat it cold! VERY DISAPPOINTING and a complete waste of my break!
