We were 10 people that bought the voucher for the Springbok Shank and wine tasting at Af'n Plaas restaurant and what a disaster today was!!! I made the booking with them over a month ago. When we arrived at 12pm today the table wasnt even prepared. This is how it all started. It continued with the drinks order taking a good 45min until it was finally taken, to wrong drinks being brought to the table to one drink being forgotten about completely. We had one toddler with us and we had to ask 3x where is food was only to be served the kiddies meal 3x. Sounds all unbelieveable? Wait there is more... we waited for our food for 2 HOURS. Can't be?? Well it is the case. And then some of the food even came to the table cold although the plates were piping hot and you couldnt touch them to move your plate on the table!!! And one of us was even served his food on a dirty plate. Also portion sizes varied quite a bit from plate to plate. We tried to speak to the manager who didnt even have the decency to come to the table to apologize!! The table behind us waited for an hour to be served their drinks and another couple and hour to even get a table with a confirmed booking!!
