In Aug 2012, requested Just letting to find me tenants to rent my property in Midrand. I thought having agent finding tenants will mitigate most of the risk. Little did I know that, it was the worst decision I've made. Firstly the tenants they found were students, secondly foreigners and thirdly no credit record. From the day one I had problems with rental payment and that's when I requested details about the tenants. Just letting go ahead approve tenants which are students with no credit record without informing me interms of the risks. I will receive my rent late or not the whole rental and electricity amount. Today is the 11 January 2013 and I still have not received my Dec 2012 rental. I hold
Justletting liable for defaulting and defrauding me of my money. I paid R6200 for nothing as it's their responsibility to find tenants who are working, good credit record, reliable references and able to pay on time. The worst part the tenants phones are off for the past three weeks and we can't trace them at all. On the 3 Jan 2013, went to the Just letting offices to report the matter, spoke to the Manager, Christine Walter and she promised to follow up and get back to me, still waiting..
