We bought our property 3 years ago from Clockworks. An electric compliance certificate has been issued by them but the problem was that the electrical work on our property was not up to standard. We complained many times and even said that we will get our own electrician to sort it out and the company must bear the costs, but he brought the same electrician back in and still was not right. Now that we sold our property it cost us R16000 plus R5000 (for the electric fence) to sort out. And it was dangerous cos we were under the impression it was a working electric and I specifically asked that on the sale of the house. When we used the shower we used to get electric shocks. I know that it is 3 years now, but I am still off at the amount of unnecessary money I had to spend if only clockworks had gotten a valid electrician initially rather that footing us around
