Yet again we get taken for a ride. When selling your property it is required to get a electrical Compliance Certificate.
Two years ago we got 3 quotes for the same certificate from 3 diffrent companies. Aaaanother 1st Electrical quote was the most expensive and came to R20K. the others were 10K and 8K.
We got all the problems sorted and received the Certificate. Now that we have sold our property Aaaanother 1st Electrical came to our property we had to pay R741 for them to come and take us for a ride yet again. All the stuff that was fixed two years ago they want to replace and yet it all looks brand new.
The quote came to 10K, so although nothing has changed in the property they want to charge us for the same stuff two year later to replace it.
so in short aaaaanother 1st electrical knows it is a requirement to get the certificate so they know that they can find fault were there s none and over charge as the owner will have to comply.
