Mr Ian Dobson of Startrek Electrical issued a clean electricity compliance certificate for a house in a retirement village Sunrise View Rietvleirand. The new owner, my elderly mother, passed away after staying 3 days in the house and the house was sold again. After inspection by another company if was found that there were a lot of electrical problems. Mr Ian Dobson was contacted and said that it was one of his employees that issued the certificate and refused to rectify the problems and ended the call. He does not respond to any of my or the executors (Standard Bank Trust) phone calls or mails. A electrical compliance certificate is valid for 2 years.
