Pathetic customer service at Home Affairs CT

Sadly this is a trend and not an isolated incident, because so many people complain about the exact same thing. My husband has been standing in the information queue for an hour and no one has attended to any of the people in the queue, because no one is at the information desk. There is no notice of whether the person is on lunch or what (if they are someone else needs to be put there for the time being to direct people to where they need to be). Some of the public servants in this country need to take pride in serving the people instead of giving bad service.
