I have faxed my request to the correct number since the 2nd of January 2013 to renew my Letter of Good Standing. Once faxed you have to call to confirm they have received it and then the fun begins. I was told that their system was not working Nov/Dec 2012 so I am on a list. Just have to wait for them to clear the backlog. Called again as still no letter. Then told I was not in their system! Resent the fax and have spent 2 days phoning them to confirm receipt - a lot of the time their system is down. Mind boggling and so frustrating! I called again today to be told now that I can't get my letter as they assessed the company on the 4th Feb but no account has been sent (so faxed to me). So once payment has been made I then have to fax proof and then start the process all over again. Unreal - how can one expect companies to tender etc. without this document. They need to employ more staff.
