We have send the application for Electrical Contractor Registration Certificate to the Department of Labour PO Box 872 Cape Town 8000 and received an e-mail from Mr M Arendse stated that he received the documents, but we will have to send more recent certified copies and so we did via registered post end of May 2013. We tried to get hold of him on his landline but with no luck. We spoke to several persons in the Occupational Health and Safety department, but nobody seems to find any relative information. Every time we spoke to them we told them that Mr M Arendse handled this matter and that we received e-mails from him which is enough proof that the application is somewhere in the system. The contact numbers we use is 021 441 8000 or 021 441 8172. The last person I spoke to is a very friendly lady by the name Fundi. She asked me for a wireman's license number and when I tried to contact her with the information I had no luck finding her. Please will you assist us in this matter. We need this Certificate ASAP.
