My mother submitted a claim to the compenstion fund in 2012. She received a letter stating that her claim was excepted but they needed some documents. This letter was sent on the 12/12/2012. On which the documents required was faxed to the fund.
In January the fund said that the claim is in process, but when she went to their offices in Hamilton street on the 18th of June, the system said that the claim was not excepted because of documents short - to which she handed the documents required in by hand - the consultant said that the claim will take now 6 - 8 weeks to process.
Today we received a fax again asking for the outstanding documents. How many times do we have to submit these documents before someone is doing their work???
A fax will be send again for the 4th time to the fund, hoping this time someone will wakeup and look at the fax machine and not using these legal documents for scrap paper and my mothe can get her money!
