Beginning of June I received a letter regarding my late mothers policy.

To avoid any confusion on my part I took my application to the branch in EL, where I asked the lady to explain to me and tell me what procedure I should follow. I insisted she write down all the supporting documents which she did and I was advised the claim would be paid in 2 weeks. Again to avoid any misunderstandings I took the application back to the EL branch and asked the lady to check if all was in order and she said yes, however I was called by the claims department where they required other supporting documents which I submitted. I was e-mailed again that there is something else outstanding and they cant process the claim. I went to Liberty Life EL and a lady by the name of Amkelwa told me it could take anything from a week to a year. She called the next person thereafter, before I could even finish what I wanted to ask. Arent consultants supposed to know the products of the company they work for and be able to distinguish the different prodcuts. I faxed the documents again its been 24 hours since I faxed and I have not even received any form on notification that states my documents were received.
