We have been urgently trying to register our company with WCC since July 2012. 1st originals were lost in post. Then they were faxed again in Nov 2012, but they didn't acknowledge receipt. Finally, they acknowledged fax receipt of application 20pages 14/12/2012. We were told to wait 21 working days for registration. I followed up by calling call centre 0860105350. 14/01/2013 couldn't get through, 16/01/2013 got through (intermittent crackly lines) and waited over 1/2 hour for a consultant who could not help me and told me to phone back or fax the application again! 18/01/2013 - repeated calls after holding for over 15mins per session went dead/silent and or crackly lines. In the meantime I emailed the whole application to 3 email addresses on [URL Removed] site - [email protected]; [email protected]; [email protected] - I have not yet received any "read" receipts.
Bottom line is, I urgently need to be registered as an employer with WCC, as it is required by law. However, WCC has made the registration process extremely difficult by the mere fact that we cannot follow up. I hate to think how long trying to process a claim would take
