I have a contract with ST to supply a Times every weekday and a ST every Sunday. I have regular failures in delivery with no (apparent) resolution. An attempt at resolution is to supply a newspaper 24 hours late, when the news is > 48 hours old!
This past Sunday, the ST was not delivered. 4 attempts to contact the local agent were frustrated. I had to go and buy a paper (the delivery one has never been delivered). I contacted ST, again, yesterday, and was told the matter would be "escalated". Nada.
The ST people talk this way and that and promise this and that, without visible outcome. I am told my Sunday delivery has been advanced by 1 (for this non-delivery). How do I know that?
What are they going to do to rectify the matter?
Poor service, ST. My next step will be to prefer a matter in terms of the CPA (Customer Protection Act).
