I entered a Celine Dion competition via Sunday Times early this year, in April I got a call from Teboho who saidd he's from Sunday Times he told me hee sees I read Sunday Times because I entered the Competition however since I am not a subscriber I lost out on the prize but he will speak too his manager and see how he/she will compensate me.
I then decided to read the T&C's and realized that everyone was allowed to enter subscriber or not. I called Times Live to relay the matter and was referred to Amanda Chetty. Amanda apologized profusely, took my number told me she'd look it up but she never did I had to keep calling her till she notified me that Teboho and another colleague were fired. She promised me a goodie bag and 6 months' free subscription to Sunday Times as consolation but yet 2 months I have not received a single paper nor that goodie bag. I called again 3 weeks ago and for the 5th time she took my number and promised to call me back after tracking the issue.
I have not received that phone call and I doubt I ever will. It's really pathetic service coming from such a highly reputable brand, their representatives aren't doing them justice. & empty promises.
