I was handed over for collection by Standard Bank while under Debt Counselling, which is illegal. Bham & Dahya Attorneys began to try to collect the debt from me, adding more unneccesary costs and interest to my outstanding balance. I subsequently obtained a settlement balance from Standard Bank and settled my account end of November 2012, but no one at Standard Bank bothered to update my information to this fact with ITC or the collection agents. Bham & Dahya are still pressing me for payment on an account that has been settled, and also informed me that they are still adding interest on my account.
