My vehicle had been towed from an accident by these people to their yard which was only a distance of approximately and no more than 15KM away. The vehicle had been in their yard for no more than 6 days when I approached them to have my vehicle released. I was informed that there was a fee of R4595.00. This is daylight and honestly overpriced, it was disgusting. I had a friend call them and acquire a quote for the same service I was provided and the pricing went like this, R1500 for towing away from accident, R200 daily storage in Yard, R350 admin fee (these were without VAT). I fail to see how their accounts department had put together my bill and I was clearly over charge, towing was R3000, storage R200/day and they charge for 8 days, admin R350 and an addition R650 for the vehicle used to town the car. I then had another towing server remove my vehicle that only charged me R350 for everything. NEVER USE Odendal for towing your vehicle and always insist that you will make you own plans and use an alternative company.
