I have been an avid fan of the Karcher product range for a very long time. I had a Karcher for 8 years untill it gave up in 2012, so I happily went and purchased another one, a 5.7 model. Worked as it should have until the Dirtblaster gave in this month. I took it back to where I purchased the machine Makro Wonderboom with my guarantee in hand. I was assisted by a gentleman who said he would contact the supplier. Today I get a call and the gentleman informed me they would not be able to help me because it does not cover parts subject to "wear and tear", is the whole machine not subject to this? I find it rather upsetting that this supposedly "quality orientated" German company is supplying me with parts that do not last even one year! This is not "wear and tear", this is shocking manufacturing that I expect from Chinese imitations. I invite Karcher to take the part and inspect it! I expect better, especially seen as I forked out R4000 for it and ALL its parts. This is a headache I didn't expect from Karcher!
