Unfortunately, the Black and Decker Pressure High Pressure Hose (Excellent Worker) we had owned was from us. When shopping around for a replacement I was persuaded by the sales rep at Makro Woodmead to purchase a Karcher. This pressure hose was used not even 6 times since October 2012 to August 2013 for general paving washing. Within a year or rather say 6 uses, the machine lost pressure completely yet powers on. I dropped off the unit (STILL IN EXCELLENT EXTERIOR CONDITION) at Makro Meadowdale. The unit was within the 1 year store warranty and within the 2 year manufacturers warranty. We were contact by the Makro consultant to inform us that the unit was sent for repairs to Karcher Meadowdale, they have rejected the repairs / warranty due to it being uneconomical. My husband contacted Karcher, he was told by Migeul that it was uneconomical to repair and that we can quoted for a new unit. Karcher is a reputable company, I am astonished that the product cannot last more than 6 washes! Further there was NO issue with user damage nor acts of or voltage electrical. This is INSANE that we are ripped off!!! I AM NOW TAKING THIS FURTHER - CONSUMER PROTECTION!!!
