After Collecting my car from them, which was on its own a mission as there were issues which ended up with me spending almost 2 hours while incidental damage to the wiring system was reapired! which was the second time i went to get the car as the first time i flat refused the car in the condition it was in. After that within 5 days of collecting the vehicle, it broke down, after spending over R2000.00 getting the vehicle diagnosed it turned out that the earth cable had not been properly secured to engine (where they did a lot of mechanical repair) and was shorting. Two days after having my car back.. it was back at the dealer the engine mounting bracket.. a fairly important bit of kit.. i would say, had not been properly assembled and had to be properly repaired.
Apart from the obvious frustration of the above, I believe the engine mounting bracket incident as a safety concern to me and that, although the cheapest to repair only R750.00, was what prompted me to make this complaint. All round Shoddy work, and i believe the Insurance company is not without blame, the work should be checked by them, after all they are the ones paying!!
