I was in an unfortunate accident late in June and my vehicle was handed in to Classic Coachworks, Parow, Beaconvale. The repairs took 2 weeks and I was contacted by David Koch from Classic Coachworks to collect vehicle on 05.07. When I arrived I noticed 4 faults even before David handed the car over. He asked his team to fix 3 of the faults but asked me to retun as the other fault was a spraypaint defect. I expected the car to be perfect. Doesn't anyone inspect the car before its retuned to the customer? When I got home I noticed a lsit of no les than 9 extra defects! I made a list and informed my insurance company. Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse I found steam pouring from the engine bay 06.07. They never properly connected the coolant pipes and water was everywhere in the engine bay and the coolant reservoir was empty! This probably caused major damage to my engine. I am shocked at the lack of care, pride and craftsmanship in Classic Coachworks work. I expect. Classic Coachworks to not only fix the problems but supply me with transport and for my vehicle to be checked for possible engine damage. Don't ever use these guys if you care about your car.
