After CHM/Peugeot hanging up my calls to their workshop no less than 6 times, then my son walking down to the workshop and being told that my vehicle (which was making a horrendous engine noise) could be booked in for "diagnostics" costing over R500.00 in a "week's time" I decided to pay a visit to the company who had left a business card on my vehicle windscreen over a year ago.
I arrived "without an appointment", was met by smiling faces, Warren went to my vehicle, started it up, opened the bonnet, removed a cover showed me that one of my engine mountings was broken. He took a photograph of my licence disc, we went inside and in less than 5 minutes I had a quote for a new engine mounting which would be delivered later the same day - if I had been able to leave work, they were prepared to fit the mounting the same day. The ONLY reason I used CMH was they were convenient to my office in Cape Town. Warren who also lives in Melkbosstrand is prepared to bring a courtesy car to my home and collect my car on the evening prior to repair/service so that I won't be inconvenienced. Guess where I will be going in future - yes, French Car Centre - it's a no brainer!!
