About a month and a half ago I bought 4 NEW tired from Pitstop in Kraaifontein for my Bakkie. This past weekend I was out on a trip with my Bakkie with 3 people including myself. The REAR driver side tire burst! The cut was right around the tire and I had to replace it with my spare wheel. I took the tire back to Pitstop where I bought the tire and THEY told me it was due to under inflation? How is this possible? WHY the back tire then? there was NO bumps in the road? Now I had to buy a new tire due to incompetence and a bad attitude? I have a guarantee with it and they bluntly refused to replace the tire?
I have used Bridgestone tires for a long time now and I think this type of service is nothing short of shocking. What about just replacing the tire as stated on a guarantee? Surely this is NOT my fault as I check my pressure regularly as I travel with my family very often and I have people in my Bakkie every single day and this has become a risk for me now.
Please could someone sort this out for me??? Surely this is not how Bridgestone deal with problems?
