I rented a car from First Car Rental at the Oliver Tambo International Airport on Monday 23rd December 2013 a Nissan X trail and I travelled from Johannesburg to Dundee KwaZulu Natal and on getting to Dundee, I noticed the next day that the right rear tire pressure was low, I went ahead and added some air to increase the pressure only to notice after a while that the tire pressure was getting low again and I called them and said that I was having a problem with the tire and the said to change to the spare which I did but I said that I was reluctant to travel from KwaZulu Natal to Johannesburg without a spare since I had my family with me and I asked them if I could repair the flat or if they could supply with another spare but the refused and I had to fix the flat with my own money and they said that they would charge me for the flat since I caused it (Can you believe that?) and afterwards the mechanics at Quick fix in Vryheid said that the tire was originally bad and had been patched severally before the rental by me and suggested that I should not even bother to fix it because the tire was bad from a very poor alignment. I eventually got to Joburg and got another car after 24hrs
