Poor Quality of Workmanship

Purchased rear tire from another Harley dealer as Clearwater did not have stock of size required. Took tire to
Clearwater to get tire fitted as that is where I purchased the bike. They decided also to fit an inner-tube. Bill came to R1016.75.

Three weeks later on breakfast run, near Pelindaba, rear tire started deflating. Used a can of Tyreweld, to slow down deflating tire. On the way home from Pelindaba had to stop at each available garage to pump up tire. Had to nurse bike home.

Monday morning pumped tire to max and took it to a bike shop in Randburg and they showed me that "rust" with rough and sharp edges was in the mag, and that could have caused the puncture in inner tube. Randburg cycles sanded down the rough/sharp areas and replaced tire "without" an inner tube. No problem. Till today tire still fine.

Tuesday emailed Clearwater, asking them why did they not check for rust with rough/sharp edges, and why not smooth them down. Clearwater phoned me on Wednesday and said they will look into it and get back to me but said they feel bad and refund portion.

Today 9th July, get email that they will not refund and it is policy to fit tube. Thats all, no other explanation.
