I bought a new Kia Koup from the Fourways branch. A few months after driving the car, I had to use my spare wheel. I noticed that the spare was completely flat. So I took the wheel into Tiger wheel and tire, and they made me aware that there was a hole IN THE RIM.
I then took the wheel to KIA Fourways. The run-around began. They asked me to get a report from tiger wheel and tire regarding the wheel. They said I could do it through KIA, but I would have to pay them for that. I then found out from Supaquik, that I would need to get an x-ray of the rim, which would be pricey. At this point I was fed up, and extremely upset that a manufacturing fault from KIA was being made into my problem. I was expected to prove that they made a mistake.
I took the tire back to KIA Fourways and demanded that they fix this problem. I was confronted by a, rarely seen, branch manager, who was willing to help, but seemingly only on the condition of putting me in my place as a measly consumer. Eventually after the extreme reluctance and bad attitude from the manager and staff, they took in my tire. I am now driving without a spare tire until they fix the problem. I am very disappointed in KIA's service
