I was joining a group of friends for a relaxing weekend at Magalies Park. All in all we were 12 people and had booked out 2 chalets through a booking agent. On arrival I was told that we had reached a maximum of 6 vehicles for the units and told that "there is nothing we can do" and that I would have to leave???!!! When I asked if there was a manager I could speak to I was told that they had all gone home.
My friends went to go and speak to the MANAGER AT RECEPTION while the security guard told me that he had been doing this for 10 years and that the reason I was fighting with him was because I was. Seriously!!??
After about 45 minutes of arguing the security guard received a call from reception and informed me that I could park with the boat trailers or leave.
We were not aware of this "rule" as we had booked through agents!
Management had absolutely no time or understanding for us and were short and abrupt. I can understand why their staff believe that they can behave like that.
I refuse to support a business were I am treated so rudely and like I am being done a huge favour to be staying there.
