Sentinel Mining Industry Retirement Fund
NOT WILLING TO HELP!

Sadly my father-in-law passed away in 2010. As a result Sentinel was to pay out the lumpsum benefits to his children including my husband. After more that a year of back and forth the administrator, Hester Erasmus, informed us that the payout will be in our account tomorrow, 23 Aug 2013.

Two weeks ago an incident left our family in dire need of financial security which will certainly be provided by this payout. On 15 Aug we contacted Hester to confirm that the money will be paid in. This morning however we were told that it will take another 3 working days.

We requested written assurance that the payment will be made on friday, enabling us to conclude pressing business. The atitude we received was simply one of "WAIT AND SEE" with no helpful info coming from Sentinel.
We were also denied oppertunity to contact payments directly.

This is truely poor sevice delivery from a company who should be there in times of dire need.
Communication and willingness to help is less that zero.

This may just be another case to you but to us it is our lives!
