Repeat of poor service from Lyndhurst Auto

My new BMW, with just over 20 000km travelled, required a "campaign" to be loaded (I.E. software upgrade). I was advised that the vehicle with need to be at the dealer for 2 consecutive days, and arranged accordingly to be without vehicle during that time. Upon arriving to collect my vehicle, I was advised that the campaign could not be completed and would be carried out at my first service.

I arranged my first service for today, under maintenance plan, and dropped off my vehicle this morning, confirming that a first service and campaign was required. Just before 14h00 today, I was contacted by the Service Department, advising that the campaign had not been loaded and asking if I could arrange alternative transport, as the vehicle would need to be kept for an additional day to complete this. I explained that with notice this late, it would be highly inconvenient and not possible to arrange transportation, also without offer of a courtesy vehicle.

I now find that after two seperate, scheduled visits to Lyndhurst Auto, the same poor service and scheduling habits prevail, and my vehicle has still not been attended to correctly. Northcliff Auto has offered me far better service
