On the 27th July 2013, we booked a 90minute full body massage at Jozini Tiger Lodge. A treatment we were looking forward to, turned to a negative experience and far from a rewarding experience we were expecting. The treatment started in dead silence (there was no therapeutic music to help us relax as expected), which was not explained to us before treatment started. With this unusual set-up I asked the therapists where is the music, response to this was that their music system and/or radios are not working. That would be the longest 90 minutes of listening to people breathing and moving around the room while trying to relax, which sadly I couldn't and in the end I felt the whole treatment was a waste of our money and time.
This issue was escalated to Bevely Low (PA to the CEO), who indicated that "according to my report and card there's no complaint" I found this insulting, dusturbing and questioning the authenticity of their coment card system as in this case as both myself and my husband reported this in the comment cards and that was the end to thematter, leaving me wondering if that means "thats the way we do things at Mangwanani".
