I wanted to express to you my experience at Mangwanani River Valley this past Friday (18 October 2013).
My wife and I were having a great time at the Spa until it was time for the full body hot stone massage. We were taken by golf cart up to a room which had a very bright light, huge windows on two walls, with NO curtains. One of the windows faced directly to a guards house, were there were a few men (guards and other staff). We asked the therapists if anyone could see us, and they said 'NO'. As we were leaving, we proceeded past the same window, only to see that anyone could see right through the window. These men could see directly into our room while we were undressing and having our massage. My wife especially was deeply distraught and really felt that her privacy was violated. We voiced our concern to the managers on duty, but all we got was a surprised look on their face.
The room that was used should not have been used for any massage whatsoever. This should be in direct violation of numerous Mangwanani policies. We are extremely disappointed at the negligence that Mangwanani has displayed!
