Bad service new watch warrenty

We bought a new Citizen watch end of April for my daughter. the sales lady recommended the citizen almost R2000. We considered the citizen because of the fact that she promoted the guarantee of 3 years if ANYTHING goes wrong with the watch.
In August my daughter showed us that the "numbers" on the display got loose. we took the watch back and said that we rather would buy a Seiko or more expensive watch. They told us that they don't sell Seiko or more expensive watches. The watch was booked in and taken to the back to have a look at the problem. never ON THE INVOICE IT WAS MENTIONED THAT THE WATCH HAD A SCRACH OR ANYTHING.ON. We got promised by the sales lady that they will get back to us asap.. Which of cause never happened. I contacted the owner Heide Marie which came back to me and said that the watch had a fall and because of that there is no refund. citizen on there letter stated that there is no guarantee on the indeces and dail detail there is no guarantee. Not what we were told when we bought the watch. what a nightmare lessen nr 1 never buy anuthing from shops that has NO CUSTOMER SERVICE OR GUARENTEE HOPE THAT.S WHY THE CONSUMER COUNCIL IS THERE TO PROTECT US.
