Last year I bought a watch from the supplier. To many R300 may not be much but for the average joe I am sure it is. The watch "Lanco" came with a 7 year warranty. During the heavy rains between October and December last year I was caught in the rain. I own several watches and have had many watches in my lifetime, but never before have I had a watch that went faulty due to rain. My watch was faulty so I went into Pavillion NWJ and asked for their assistance. They took the watch in and said they would send the watch for repairs. Today I got a call informing me that the watch is damaged (surprise) and that because it is no longer in production there is nothing they can do to replace the watch and they cannot repair it either. They were very happy to offer me another watch for another R295. So not only did they sell me a watch with a warranty but they had the audacity to offer me another watch at a price. When you buy a watch that has a reputable label and a considerable price you expect to get decent quality and decent service. I will never but from NWJ again. they didn't even try to compensate me in the least.
