During the week I had to travel from Boksburg to Bethal and I was amazed at how pathetic the tomtom is with roads. I'm traveling and the next moment the road disappears and I seem to be traveling in space, a few hundred meters and the road would reappear only to tell me I have to make a u-turn (this happened twice). It took me through a town where I had to stop at a filling station to ask for directions. They looked at me like I'm an asking for direction with a tomtom mounted on the windscreen. Anyway: after a lot of hassle I eventually got to the customer who told me I just had to stay on the N17 because it takes me straight to them. Why on earth the tomtom let me take an off ramp and let me travel through a town when it is basically a straight road is beyond comprehension. The next day I went back without "the help" of the tomtom and was amazed when I arrived 30 minutes earlier and traveled about 30km less. The best part is my wife bought me one of the most expensive tomtoms available, my brother has one of the cheapest Garmins on the market and he has no problems whatsoever. Please ask the guys from Garmin to advise you on how to fix this
