I called Eskom to report a tripped switch. I think their turn around time isa maximum of 6 hours. In that 6 hours they came and could not fix the problem. The following day they came and found that the problem was in the tall brown pole and had to go use a step ladder and they had not brought it. They returned with a super lift truck and replaced the switches. It's been 5 days, the electric switch has not tripped.
I just want to thank the 2 men that came over and took their time to help us. I also applaud Eskom for having a dedicated team to giving an excellent service to an average or low income eearning citizens.
Thank you also to the lady who called me back on the first day to find out if we were assisted or not. I do take into account that this is a government organization and has a multitude number of citizens to serve and therefore follow up with cutomers may not be a priority but it was differrent with Eskom.
