Discovery health doesn't care about their members. They only care about getting your money. My wife has had a heart transplant and has battled to get her chronic medication for over a week due to a glitch in the system. She went in for surgery on Monday and still can't get her pain killers etc. They just don't care about getting it sorted out. I am told that if she does not take her anti-rejection medication for 2 weeks she will die. What am I supposed to do. They take no notice of calls, and end up putting you on hold until you give up. When you complain you get put through to someone else who does not answer. Unfortunately I believe that they employ a lot of staff that do not have a medical background and because of this don't know the urgency.
