We received a statement from Garden City clinic yesteday 15/04/2013 dated Jan 2013 stating that the account is overdue and have been handed over to the lawyers. We never received any statement from them before. I phoned them on the 16/04/2013 and they told me that the medical aid short paid. When i phoned Sizwe medical aid, they advised me that more information was requested from the hospital and never received any feedback from the hospital. The last communication with the hospital was on the 4th of Sep 2012. Sizwe medical aid is saying that the account is old and they are not going to pay the hospital. The hospital never made proper follow ups with sizwe medical aid (the patient was in hospital in June 2012), now our account is with their lawyers the next thing we will be blacklisted. We are always up do date with our account, if we had received the statement last year we would have made follow up with the sizwe medical aid.
