On the1st of January 2013 i was taken to Sunninghill hospital by my fiancee and his colleague. Upon arrival at the casuality ward we furnished them with my medical aid and identity book. I was assessed in the casuality ward and told i was to be admitted but the hospital had an influx of patients so they would have to move me to another hospital, the Nurse on duty then asked me which hospital is nearest to me so the ambulance can transport me there. I then chose Milpark. I have received an invoice from Netcare 911 and on it there are no medical aid details whereas i specifically supplied the hospital with my details and my medical aid says they cannot pay as there are no medical aid details furnished. When i called Netcare 911 they told me the hospital said i wanted to be moved to be closer to home and i told them i would pay for it. Why would i pay for hospital services using cash when i pay monthly premiums to my medical aid??
