We were threatened by Lancet to have us ITC due to non-payment by our medical aid. To avoid this we made a payment of R2551, 12 on the 12/10/12 by cc, for our full statement outstanding.
In the mean time while receiving these threats our medical aid had indeed made payment an amount of R 2294, 40 on the 05/10/12, 7 days prior to my payment and letters & mails being received.
A Credit for R1326.52 only was passed, for the double payment that was made. A credit is still due to me, and amount of R 967, 88. It's now been 6 months since I reported this, but still have not heard back from anyone, even though i keep sending a mail trying to follow up.
It seems they are quick to threat with ITC's etc, when you owe money, but not when money is owed back. Why the double standard?
