Lancet did not follow correct procedure

Lancet Laboratories handed me over to ITC-BA. I received a sms yesterday from the ITC informing me that I had been handed over by lancet. I asked them to email me the statement, as I was not aware of this account ever being outstanding. I am now waiting for the statement (ITC informed me that the email will take 72 hours to arrive due to them requesting the statement from Lancet).

ITC informed me that my medical aid probably did not settle my account for last year. I then asked why I was not made aware of the outstanding amount and why my name had been handed over to the ITC without following due diligence and without informing me about my account being in arrears? If this affects my credit rating or shows up in my credit report I will take it further. I always pay my accounts. This is unacceptable, I have no letters from lancet, no statements. If I had been informed I would have made sure payment had been made if the medical had not. They have my contact details, why was I never contacted in over a year???

Lancet has not followed the correct process prior to handing my name over to ITC. My ref. is F3270183.
