Having been a member with Discovery Health for years and been in good health am amazed to to discover that since Jan 2013 to April 2013 we have managed to deplete our savings. I have had a back problem since Jan and tried various doctors etc. have done a few physio therapy sessions and am now advised that my savings have been depleted and it will no longer be covered. Pray tell why not? The call centre tell me is for my account as it is not a hospital procedure. The point of the physio is to avoid any Hospital procedures. Pray tell if everything is paid from my savings account and our monthly premiums of over R3000 what the do you guys cover? If nothing else had prompted me to shop around and get service and comparisons from your competition.
