Discovery is an absolute NIGHTMARE.
I was Involved in a motor vehicle accident on the 25 April 2013, where i was transport via ambulance to Flora Hospital, where i had to in casualty waiting for pre authorisation before been taken for x-rays. later on that day i was discharged from hospital.
i then found out that Discovery did not cover my casualty visit as i was not admitted to hospital only casualty, (last time i checked medical aids where for emergency's does been taken to hospital via ambulance not count?) they drained my medical savings account to pay for my casualty visit.
due to the injuries i sustained from the accident i have had to attend physio everyday since which Discovery has paid none of, i then get an email telling me i have almost reached my annual limit for physio, yet discovery has not paid a cent towards my physio how can a reach a limit that i have taken nothing from?
you pay such a lot of money for a service you do not get, i was not covered in an emergency situation and have had no post hospital help from them, what is the point of been on a medical aid if i have had to fit the bill myself for everything anyway? there service is disgusting...
