We have clearly had a raw deal with Discovery and the Plan Classic Priority that we on.
We looking at changing our medical aid company - Discovery has come back to say we can but there's fee we need to pay due to our savings account.
We requested a downgrade on the on the Tue 2013/02/26 @ 05:47 PM attention [Email Removed] ; [Email Removed] from [Email Removed] Classic Priority to Classic Saver and was advised that this will be reviewed as I need to have a Laparoscopy done which has a deductible of R4700.00 on this plan.
No one has bothered to touch base with myself or my husband. We also have life cover with Discovery and hoping not to have the same issues when need be. It's just been a mare for both of us - so admin intensive - call centre agents always giving us different information. Whenever we call back we speak to different people - getting transferred from one agent to another. So frustrating when an agent says a certain department doesn't work on week-ends and when you call in the week the departments who ''advises on co payments amounts'' confirms they actually do work on week-ends. This is just a bit of my frustration.
