1. Resigned membership July 2009 when I emigrated from S.A.
2. Over 3 years later letter from Discovery forwarded to me in Oct 2012 stating I owed R640
3. Immediately e-mailed asking for detail which was eventually received Dec 2012
4. Advised Discovery I was leaving for Ireland and would attend to the matter when I returned home mid Jan 2013.
5. Recd letter from Discovery in Jan 2013 saying they were reporting me to a Credit Bureau
6. e-mailed Discovery 2x in Jan 2013 (recd automated responses ref. 696435633 & 2702335286)
7. No response from Discovery sent 2x further e-mails in Feb 2013 (automated responses again received)
8.Still no e-mail response from Discovery. Letter from Discovery d/d Jan 2013 forwarded to me on 20 Feb stating I had been reported to Credit Bureau Transunion.
I advised Discovery in Dec 2012 I would pay if the alleged amount was owed by me BUT the do not respond to my e-mails and all they do is send threatening letters. Discoverys inefficiency has caused a blot on my good credit record. I will however not be be threatened and I will not pay until such time that Discovery retract the report to Transunion and apologise for the shoddy way they have treated me.
