A while ago i was notified by discovery that i owe them the amount of R 8026-60. I explained to them that i do not have the whole amount available and sugested to repay them a monthly amount of R500. The consultant e-mailed me a couple of forms as i had to apply for the repayment. I completed these forms and send it back to discovery, from there i did not hear anything from discovery. On 17 Jan 2013 and 15 Feb 2013 I e-mailed discovery to find out what happened regarding my "application for repayment", still no responce.
Yesterday i received a notice from Discovery advising me that i have been listed at the credit bureau for none paypent!!!
This is totaly unacceptable, how can they list me when they can't even get back to me... i never indicated that i am not willing to pay the account, nerver did discovery even attemp to make any further contact and/ or send reminders (eventhough i had to remind them).
Maybe I expected a company like discovery to be professional, whereas they are clearly a bunch of uneducated amateurs!!!
I will take this matter further, i've already set-up a meeting with the NCR regarding this matter.
People who are thinking of using discovery please think twice
